Back in August of 2020, I was catching up with a friend when she mentioned she was doing a fitness program called 75 HARD. As a challenge-lover, I had to know more, and my jaw dropped as she explained it. This intense program involved drinking a gallon of water a day, reading 10 pages of a self-help book, taking a daily progress photo, sticking to a strict diet plan, and working out for TWO full hours daily (one hour had to be outside).
While I loved the discipline behind it, I quickly realized that committing to two hours of exercise every day (and starting completely over if you missed one task) just wasn’t realistic for my lifestyle. Still, I wanted a structured way to build healthier habits, gain strength, and stay motivated, especially in the middle of the pandemic.
So, I created my own doable, sustainable version: The 60 Days Stronger Challenge.

Why 60 Days?
Research shows it takes about 30 days to form a habit that sticks. Doubling that time frame gives you the extra push to turn those habits into a true lifestyle. I took inspiration from 75 HARD but adjusted it to create a realistic, balanced approach that still drives real results.
Here are the 5 daily habits that make up the 60 Days Stronger Challenge:
- Hydration – Drink half your body weight in ounces per day, or one gallon (whichever comes first).
- Exercise – Move your body for one hour each day (splitting into two sessions if necessary).
- Healthy Meal Plan – Stick to a nutritious eating plan without “cheat” days.
- Self Development – Read 10 pages of a self-help book.
- Gratitude – Write down 3–5 things you’re thankful for each day.
I typed this list up, made a printable tracker (because seeing your progress is so motivating), and invited my friend to join me. She mentioned it to her friend, who just happened to be a TikTok influencer, and suddenly, the challenge went viral! We formed a private Facebook group for accountability and support, added a point system with prizes for the top three scorers, and watched hundreds of people transform their routines and mindset.
Leading five full rounds of this 60-day health and fitness challenge throughout 2021 and 2022 was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I saw participants gain strength, confidence, and discipline, and it inspired me just as much as it did them.
