I am an extra-AF, go-all-out for my birthday kind of girl and I love throwing themed birthday parties for myself. For my 29th birthday, I decided to go with a Mean Girls movie theme. Naturally, I allowed my creativity to run wild. The party turned out to be a massive success! I’ve decided to share my secrets with you so that you can throw a Totally Fetch Mean Girls Birthday Party for yourself or a friend. Let’s get this party started, y’all!
One other special thing I did was create party favors for my friends by decorating reusable cups with quotes from the movie. I was also very careful not to use any of the quotes found in the trivia game because I didn’t want to give away any hints or answers before we could begin playing. That said, you’ll find 24 nostalgic Mean Girls movie quotes that will remind you of a time when everyone wore Juicy Couture velour pant sets and had bling all over their flip phones. Enjoy reminiscing, my friend!
What a humble thing for Bailey to say, am I right? Well, when you think about it, it takes a LOT of courage for someone to consistently show up on a public platform and spill the good, bad and the ugly from their life… Vulnerability is a form of braveness, yet it’s not the only form there is. Tune in to hear an array of courageous things that Bailey has done throughout her life and why she thinks she’s been able to take all of the risks that she has. By tuning in, she hopes to inspire you to be brave and take a few risks because in the words of Brene Brown, “Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”
As much as I love India, it’s not for everyone. I’m not just saying this – Indians have told me this (specifically my fiancé and his family) as a forewarning to prepare me for my first trip which occurred in March 2022. The sights, the sounds, the smells, the people – ALL of these aspects differ greatly from those of the United States, the environment that I was born and raised in. Monish’s sister actually told me that she’s had friends come visit her in India from different parts of the world, and that some of them are just overwhelmed by everything this incredible country has to offer. Understanding this, Monish began preparing me for my first trip to India back when we first started dating, which happened to begin right before the 2020 pandemic lockdown occurred.
Tune in as Bailey explains what EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is, who can benefit from it and why she’s chosen to subject herself to this intense therapy. Additionally, she goes into detail on how each session works including the preparations, tools and how her therapist walks her through each session. You’ll gain a unique perspective to the EMDR therapy process that will hopefully help you better understand what’s to gain when choosing to do this work alongside a therapist.
Today is finally the day that I will travel to Monish’s childhood home and spend time in the place where he grew up. But first, we’ve got to take a 5-hour train ride from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
