Welcome to Distressed to Joyful; Bailey’s Way Podcast! In this episode, you’ll hear me discuss the importance of implementing healthy routines in your daily life as well as how to get started if you’ve never had one before.

An article I found on Very Well Mind reads “Research has consistently shown that routines can play an important role in mental health. One study, for example, found that routines could help people better manage stress and anxiety. Having a regular routine can help you: lower stress levels, form good daily habits, take better care of yourself, help you feel more productive and focused”.

Here’s a few things that I’ve added into my daily/weekly routines in order to help keep myself both physically and mentally healthy: exercise, healthy meals, self-help books (check out this list of wonderful reads), listening to encouraging podcasts and having a regulated sleep schedule. Be sure to tune into the episode to hear my take on these things as well as how I transformed my very unhealthy-self into a routine-loving-healthy woman.
